A moment that defined the practice
In 2010 she made a routine review call. Her client's wife had just been diagnosed with stage two breast cancer. The family had policies with several providers and assumed they were covered. Not one covered critical illness. The only policy that paid out — $82,000 — was the one Kristen was managing.
